Context
The client was implementing a range of manufacturing focused SAP modules, including: Logistics Execution System (LES); Manufacturing; Direct Store Delivery (DSD); and Sales & Distribution (SD). They had experienced difficulties with the effectiveness of training in their first state-based rollout and were looking to resolve a range of complex issues prior to the remaining rollouts.

Brief
Articulate was engaged to conduct a health check of the SAP training program, identify improvements and recommend a way forward.

Outcomes

• Options for future rollouts rated according to cost and benefits
• Recommendations made around education best practice to minimise future shortfalls in training programs

Approach
The core issues documented by the client were contrasted against education best practice and theory to derive a number of potential options. The cost and benefits of these options were then rated and classified to enable the most suitable option for future rollouts to be identified, without the requirement for complex and detailed benefits realisation.
